This is a great game especially if your a football fan. However with that being said the Madden game series in my opinion has really gone downhill since they aquired the sole rights to nfl games a few years back. To me it is like they have become very lazy. Their are many problems with this game. The most glaring being the Franchise “bug”. This is if you simulate or as you progress in franchise mode the defense gets worse and worse every year. It adds a element of non realism to the game and overtime becomes very annoying. There is also a glitch involving free agency where pretty much there won’t be any free agents left. There is also a lot of people who have complained about how the A.I. is too unrealistic as far as the defensive side of the ball, mainly pass defense, I agree with this sentiment. It seems like any time you throw a pass a defender can come out of no where and intercept the ball. An Xbox Live update was supposed to help this however. Through all of this though it is a nice game an overall I would give it a 6.5/10
